Call it an “adult day camp” … call it a great way to sample beers being crafted here in Idaho … just don’t call it a fun night YOU missed!
Camping and cold beer go hand in hand. So what better way to kick off the Sun Valley Center’s Making Camp exhibition (opening on July 13) than by trying some of the best small-batch beers being made in Idaho today?
On Thursday, July 12 from 5:30 to 7pm, learn about the state of beer in the State of Idaho and sample the wares from three of Idaho’s premier craft breweries: Sockeye Brewing, Crooked Fence Brewing and Payette Brewing Company. The three Boise-based breweries will have reps on hand to talk shop and pour beer, including a special collaboration beer concocted by all three.
Those attending the Craft Beer “Day Camp” will also get the first look at The Center’s exhibition Making Camp, which opens to the public July 13. Tickets ($50 a person) are on sale now at www.sunvalleycenter.org. The ticket price for this fun, casual and educational event includes three handsome logo pint glasses to take home.
Attendance is limited to 50 people (ages 21 and over only), so purchase your ticket right away and plan to educate your palate! The Craft Beer “Day Camp” is sponsored by Hayden Beverage Company and the Sun Valley Center for the Arts.
